AT&T Benefits Center Dropping Retiree Medical Benefits

Does anyone have an internal AT&T benefits administrator telephone # or contact? Alight dropped my Retiree pre65 Medical Benefits abruptly and I'm unable to contact anyone with AT&T. Only offshore employees giving a run around for the last couple weeks..
Retiree's we're all getting the shaft apparently!!!

Craft Retired at 66 in 2020. Rural so only option was Blue Cross. This year 2025 have been dropped. No explanation. After 42 years I have no secondary insurance for the month of Jan 2025, also no dental and vision. Have spent 2 days so far on this. Was alerted to this by one of my fellow retiree's who was also dropped.

“Retired at the end of 2019, still have our pre-Medicare benefits and post Medicare advantage plans.”
Five years later and still checking these boards?

Retired craft from district 3, hired in after 1998. I was medicare eligible upon retirement. I got one year of subsidized advantage plan. Now I have to pay for it all myself. So I got upon retirement one year of subsidized medical coverage.

"Management if retired after 2019 does not have insurance no matter what age you are."

This is incorrect, the last year for subsidized retiree medical insurance was 2020 for management employees.

Craft is not necessarily on their own after age 65. If they got pre-Medicare coverage, then upon reaching age 65, they might be eligible to participate in AT&T's Medicare Advantage plan (I think). The difference is, there may be a monthly premium for retirees that weren't previously getting the HRA whereas the basic MA plan is free for retirees that were previously subsidized by the HRA.

One big difference I've noticed is, AT&T's plan has a significantly larger formulary than individual Part D or individual MAPD plans. So, there may be coverage for certain prescriptions that aren't covered elsewhere. And there appears to be a pullback in Part D and MA on pharmaceutical coverage.

So, depending on the individual situation, this plan might be a good fit, monthly premium or not. It's better to have more choices.

Craft keeps insurance till your 65th birthday then you are on your own.

Management if retired after 2019 does not have insurance no matter what age you are.

Terms changed for 2025. Enrollment was required I think. Looks like the offered plans changed in Florida

If you retired as a craft employee you will keep your insurance until you reach 65 , if you retired as a manager AFTER 31 December 2019 you do not have retiree insurance.

Ask for a supervisor. Be firm. Alight is really tough. Once I got on with a floor manager the service was great.
