I have worked here for 2 years. Never have I seen management so rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional at any other job. Is it this way at every club? Why is management like this?

The reason they were promoted to management is because they were corporate hacks willing to step on anybody to climb up one more rung on the corporate ladder. Critical thinkers and decent human beings with people skills need not apply.
Sams club management.....where do I start? They talk bad about associates, they disrespect associates in front of other associates and members, they retaliate anytime you report anything....the constant silent treatment you get when they're mad at you, they get mad when you call in and use your time, they show constant "favoritism", some people get termed at 5 points while others never get any points no matter how many days they miss or show up late, they have no "respect for the individual," they talk to you like a dog and are appalled when you say something back, they understaff every area and get mad at the associate when they call in because they're "short staffed," they have zero idea how to run their department, they get mad when you do something "wrong" although they've never trained you correctly, you're supposed to know everything without being taught, they sit in the office all day barking orders while eating Cheetos. What else can I say? The most inexperienced management in the entire industry, not to mention lazy!
First off they all lack experience doing any of the jobs inside the club!ask a manager how to do all that work they give you!flip it back onto their shoulders!none of them know how to do anything but lock/unlock the front door.so,when the manager tells you to get 5 jobs done,ask him/her how they would go about getting all that work done- then do what they say and they get all the flack for not getting it all done on time
Yep! It's universally known that Walmart/Sam's Club management is the worst!
There are likely a few managers in Sams Club over all that are decent people but management being horrible people is a systemic . Basically d-mb people get promoted and learn quickly that they can make people squirm with their power. They get a kick out of watching you struggle. It is actually fun for them to give you more work than you can do then watch you struggle and worry about getting it done. Then if you can not get it done they blame you and give you even more if you complain at all. They rarely IF EVER admit fault. I have a long story in which I was in a meeting where one manager actually stood up and praised another manager for teaching him how to lie. It was in a room full of 20+ year associates. Some were hourlies like myself. When that manager praised the other for teaching him how to lie the room sat quiet. Quickly the leader of the group moved on to another topic. They do talk about you in the office and say degrading things. Do not believe they are your friend or else you will be licking their shoes to keep their favor.
Worked for SC for many years. I have noticed a shift in management , they no longer dress or act professional. They are only there to collect their undeserved pay check.
