There's a new company mandate that the sapience tracking tool is now requiring 8 hours of productive time. If you get up to use the rest room make a cup of coffee you have to make up for that time. Higher ups are now pulling reports on a weekly basis and if you are not at 8 hours each day you will get fired.

Why y’all still working for this clown show company?
@1plh+1vo0IMIk - So the answer to having one bad apple is to punish everyone? That's like having the dentist pull all your teeth after finding a surface cavity on just one.
So, to make sure you don't have the time for a second job, they gave you the work of two but get paid for only one. Brilliant, no wonder the stock is through the roof but not your paycheck.
While the de one job story might be true, FB had Sapience installed at First Data long before that incident. Probably dates back to 2018 or even earlier.
Sapience has been at Fiserv for at least the past 3 years. The reason for the sudden hyper-focus on Sapience and ridding itself of remote workers it is because someone in FIG was found to have been working a second full time job while on Fiserv's full time payroll. I don't remember the guy's name but I do know who he reported to so I'm positive it happened. They decided to make everyone's working lives miserable based on that incident. Sapience cannot possibly track all of your productive time and they're looking for trends. Just deliver what you're expected to deliver and you'll be fine.
Well I should apologize as I’ve found my comment below was not accurate, the message hadn’t hit my group yet. They are absolutely looking for 8 plus hours in office badging averages…. I see we must’ve pi---d big man off during surveys and he’s doubling down.
Sapience is not accurately reflecting what I’m doing. But it’s outputs that matter, not time spent spinning your wheels!
Fiserv isn't the only multinational or the first, so you'd better get used to being a person who likes bi--hing.
If a manager needs a ridiculous attendance report to judge associate performance, they are a cr-p manager. Period. All the way up the food chain.
These are all a reaction. The reason for tracking is Fiserv hires sub human and mediocre people that ruin sh-t for everyone more often than they don't.
It's a cozy placs but the company is publicly run with shareholders. It can't treat sub humans like anything better than they are and keep getting robbed. Some of you are ok but some of you deserve working at Fiserv and you can bathe in the filth you deserve.
That’s simply not true the company is tracking but are targeting sub 7 efforts. There are more cuts coming using swipe/sapience metrics. Just don’t know exactly when. Fiservs way of saying “Happy Holidays” to all our dedicated employees. The books will look clean come he-l or high water stock price be damned.
So you have to type for a full 8 hours? What if you need to think about what you are typing/writing? I've been gone 3+ years, but this Sapience thing just seems so ridiculous.
More propaganda.
20 plus years I have always excelled and got my job done. Without being tracked. They are running good people out the door for more pay and more flexibility. Some companies have been sued in recent years over these trackers. ESP for salary employees.
This place is destroying their reputation…
So many people are about to be fired in FIG due to poor badge in data and sapience. Just blind terminations that do not take into considerations for projects, medical, or even operating expenses....
SK is a poor leader who just does whatever Frank tells him...
It's 7 working hours. But Sapience puts me as unaccounted for even working. So there is that.
Don’t care, let them fire me. The stupid cr-p the leaders of this company worry about is amazing. Bush league.
Well can they fire everyone? What a disgraceful place…I know rif discussions happening.
