Is there a blacklist that prevents people who were laid off from Intel from being rehired?

@gcx... wrong, ACT had 3 components ( involuntary, voluntary, retirement) just like this round. The only ACT people who can't come back are the ones who were forced out involuntarily. I do remember hearing something now that Intel is having a hard time recruiting good talent that a lot of the no-hire status has been removed. So the best advice is to apply and find out. If you come back negotiate at least a 1 grade step up.
It depends on how you left and how your manager and HR coded your departure. If you were terminated for cause, your application would be flagged by HR.
I think everyone that was ACT'd upon in 2016 is blacklisted.
Make sure you tick all the diversity boxes and tell the you have an acquired brain injury from the last time you worked there. They will be rolling out the red carpet.

There is no such flag, but in order to get rehired you might need to move to asia.

But, to the OP's question, yes - you can get tagged with "ineligible for rehire" flag, but I assume you would know this at time of exit.
If there is one, it may help those on the list more than those who own the list to steer around the sink hole.
