Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The vibe is bad

It’s exhausting. I have a hard time focusing, as everyone around me. I can’t detach myself from work even when I’m back home. If workflow was normal, one would be able to accomplish something daily and close the book for that day. This way it all spills over everywhere and anxiety lingers. I hope either to be let go or for this mess to finally settle down.

Wow it’s disappointing that we lost good engineers but kept DEI management. Now they are tasked to cheer us up. Get real.

Bloody intel culture su-ks. Just demotivating good performers. Others just doing lateral moves. Leaders are blind . They can not see nexus

I feel unsafe in Intel. And hope to find new job before next lay off round. As such I am good performer and received outstanding ratings multiple times. I don’t know if I can survive for next 6 months.

Doing stuff at work started to look irrelevant with each passing day since the start of this cost saving carnage. An employee is getting less value from Intel for their efforts. Contractually promised income through bonuses etc have disappeared. QPB is now measured in 'hours' and is the joke of the town.
