Yes and yes like every year!
I heard from two different managers in the same week that Feb/Mar/Apr 2025 is going to be a rough time for Winston-Salem
The entire purpose of Powell / COO is to downsize. All the groups that report up to him will fall victim eventually.
A lot of functions are going to be consolidated into the COO team - rationalization planning work kicked off late 3Q24 - getting ready for a post asset cap world - some functions will just be doing less with less - Best guess is those layoffs occur in 1H25 - but Firm loves to jam people up with the 4Q layoffs - so if you even think you're on the bubble it's best to plan for this or find something else.
I heard from two different managers in the same week that Feb/Mar/Apr 2025 is going to be a rough time for ITSO (IT Service Operations).
I heard this unconfirmed rumor that layoffs will continue

Tell me you don't work here without telling me you don't work here
Lol really? Location strategy and efficiency layoffs all through 2025 and 2026 from what I've heard. Just always assume there will be layoffs at WF and you won't be dissapointed. May the odds ever be in your favor.
