Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

If we’re gonna time warp back to the late 90’s…

Bring back:

  1. Adequate parking
  2. Assigned seating with your team
  3. Locking cabinets
  4. Working equipment, docking stations, keyboards, quality monitors, headsets
  5. Coffee/filtered water
  6. Cleaning and garbage pickup
  7. Office supplies and tools

Yet, naturally, none of this being provided. None. They want physical presence without adequate tools. If you’re going to time warp and REGRESS at least pretend to do it correctly.

If only T stock price could go back to the 90’s. But all of the failed experiments with zero accountability from the top took a toll and the employees, now treated like children as if we’ve been the problem, pay the price.
Someone should put PJ’s in a Pack n Play and remove him from this equation so we can do the real work as adults with the flexibility we deserve to get the work done.

Back then the manager stood at the door every morning and took attendance. I guess with the tracking reports we can say that role has been automated, so Bam! There’s your improvement.
