Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

November and December are going to su-k

The push for sales and impact revenue are going to make these last 2 months brutal. You can already see everybody in legal and pricing is overwhelmed. You're getting incorrect responses because nobody can keep the different opportunities straight, because there are so many things flying.

But the stock is doing great!

It doesn’t help that our internal business processes are hot garbage. Think about it, who OWNs those issues? Who drives this? Fiserv has enough people to do what they need to do (and then some), but they e don’t have ownership/accountability at the highest levels. Everything is treated as some ad-hoc, critical item. Thing is BAU. While teams only exist because they were a stop gap to a process issue and instead of fixing the process we just added headcount to the teams and then when we reduce headcount everyone is shocked that the non-process is failing.
