I really hope the job market starts to get better soon. I haven’t had any luck with decent offers, I’ve only been getting lowball ones since I started applying six months ago. I feel for those who were laid off and had to accept jobs significantly below their previous pay. I'd hate to find myself in that position.

I am in the same boat like you. I am getting certifications , but no luck in job market. This is the worst job market I have seen for the last 25 years. I donot know how the GDP is at 2.8% in US and unemployment is AT 4.1%. Unemployment in tech sector is almost 40 to 50%.
