The string of promotions awarded to people who didn't earn them has really set us back over the past few years - not only because they have no idea how to do their jobs once promoted, but because the people who actually deserve recognition end up feeling overlooked and undervalued. How can they expect to keep good employees when they’re constantly passed over for people who haven’t earned it?

Get over it, tired of ppl whining about others getting what they covet. Or get another job
I’ve noticed many of my questions to managers get deferred to their underlings for the real answer - whether it’s my leadership or some of the managers I interview about controls. This company needs a serious cut to middle and top management.
DEI - didn't earn it.
This is seen all the time. It's frustrating sometimes seeing how incapable some of the "leads" are or how egotistical, dismissive or id--tic the "principals" are, hahaha, rofl....
A lot of the people that did the heavy lifting with RCSA work were let go. The big rigs got bonuses for meeting the deadline.
They give promotions? Very rare. You must be talking about customer facing roles. I always assume people here work on the corp side.
