My father was a Teamster, my mother a nurse. Two grandfathers were railroad. All proud members of unions. I am a firm supporter of unions. I think you may have luck unionizing the hourly workers, the rest not so much. I hope you plan to picket. Not strike, but picket. A lot of the other unions would send representatives to picket with you. If you don’t picket- you’re not getting the attention from the media. A strike would really bring in the media.
For more information about joining our union movement please visit the committee for better banks.org or google Wells Fargo workers United! Yes we are gaining momentum and standing up for ourselves! It’s easy to unionize your group. You just need a super majority. Why should we sit and let Chainsaw Charlie get an 18.4 percent raise while we get excited if we get 2? It’s time for Charlie to exit the building or maybe he should have to move within 40 miles of our headquarters in San Francisco?
Secret support group? This post has 92 views last I looked. The one before had 268. How many people work for Charlie? I am all for unions in the right situation. However, you should not be relying on this site to rally support. Unless there is secret messaging, secret password or sign-on I don’t know about. Are there thousands of employees on this site talking union in a secret clubhouse? Personally, I would be hanging out with your local Teamsters.
It full of disgruntled people that think unions are the answer. The link is on the wall of their safe place
It's definitely not fake propaganda lol. There is a drive to unionize and it's gaining momentum. If you were paying attention, you'd know our CEO actually had to testify to congress about earlier this year.
Right now it's still really small percentage of the work force, but they seem to be adding branches at a pretty regular clip, and there seems to be some corporate functions dabbling with it now as well, such as call centers and a group of Conduct Management (a little ironic) employees.
Could it fizzle out and turn into a nothing burger in time? Possibly. But right now it seems like it's only gaining more momentum.
This page became our wells fargo secret support group to ask questions among ourselves without fear of retaliation. If you dont like it, keep scrolling.
It is fake propaganda from like 2 people
Go back to where you came from then.
I think you can explain the topic variety through there being no other outlet for opinion. Not so long ago, for example, they allowed comments on team news articles but that got shot down. Management clearly did not like what they heard when the rabble got to use the mic. Other more progressive companies have internal discussion forums with strict terms of use.
