Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I’m sick of people rationalizing Charlie & Co.’s self-serving leadership.

“(Fill in the blank) is not a Wells Fargo C Suite issue. It’s a Corporation C-Suite issue.”

In other words - you are watching Wells Fargo’s leaders destroy middle-class families, put out a mediocre product and consistently exploit their customers; but it’s okay because other large companies are doing the same thing. So are you rubber-stamping blind conformism to the masses even when It’s morally wrong?

A dismissive and minimizing excuse for poor leadership, to avoid taking accountability.

“That $3 Billion loss in CRE is okay, because they already set the money aside.” (Varying large amounts also set aside in 2023, 2022, and 2021)

The CRE problems have been highly reported on and spreading since 2020. How about we hire some pro-active leaders who can recognize and react early to a risky trend in the economy, rather than just setting money aside for impending losses? And why is it okay for Charlie & Co to make poor decisions which result in massive losses for the bank when they wouldn’t hesitate before firing some low-level employee who made an error in judgment that cost the bank a minor amount?

They ARE shifty with how they handle the topic in the press. a. They like to say ‘they work hard to identify opportunities for employees in other parts of the company to retain as many employees as possible.’ Right….let’s see the data. b. They rarely if ever tell the truth about those U.S. jobs going offshore.

I want to know who at Wells Fargo is giving the green light in interfering with employee unionization. Just a warning that attempting to prevent unionization is illegal and will not be tolerated. I am sure Charlie is aware of the intimidation and remind him that his poor leadership has led to unions and ongoing regulatory issues.
