Been in the team for years and was considered a good performer. All until this reorg. New manager telling me alot of my team members are complaining about me and I need to work on myself. AS he put it, performance issues.
Last week on my one on one he told me, I think you should look for another role that better suits you. I am like what's wrong with what I am doing currently? Response was that you are not growing and helping others grow. All of it sounds very vague. I think he wants to push me out. Spoke to another team member and he said manager doesn't like you so coming up with excuses. Question is do I wait it out for a LR? I am worried they put me on PIP and then I have no job and no severance later. Market is pretty bad and I dont want to look around.
Came out of the blue. Not surprising given lack of leadership at the top
