This artificial worker shortage is making the office Miserable. Everyone yelling at everyone else every day on email and teams and meetings. People don’t have bandwidth to do their jobs and getting sloppy, plus everyone trying to borrow resources or throw work to other teams, plus security and other requirements getting stricter, plus plus plus. Insanity.

Based on being here a while, I BET you managers WILL get rid of bad performers too. Nobody needs a fu--ing welfare recipient on their team and that's almost universal. BET.
Managers won't get rid of poor performers since they won't be able to backfill that role. So they would rather have someone doing some work than nobody at all.
We all now work for amounts to a government agency
People are overworked and under appreciated. Those who the work of 2/3 get treated like 2nd class citizens without any appreciation. Those that reply on others to do the job for them have no accountability. The leaders are aware of who they are and there no consequences. It’s hard to positive and inspirational when you are doing the work of two and treated horribly. Bad morale causes issue between teams sans team members
Maybe FB should put associates first… did you look at the prices of the medical insurance? Shameful a company this size and the medical prices.. they certainly didn’t care to negotiate for the employees! They even had meetings to creatively craft words to smooth over the message
These replacement cannot be train in time ro present customer impact
1qpb+1vat56WR is correct. There's no replacements and people are taking on the work of those roles that are eliminated.
It's felt company-wide. My team isn't as impacted as other teams but we deal with the effects of it. Takes longer to get assistance on various things needed.
Train them correctly. The result will be the same. Fiserv changes everything so frequently that the training will be obsolete as you are providing it.
If you have to train a replacement - well, train them wrong = revenge.
And if/when you leave why would you want to train a replacement? That’s saying you are being replaced? Obviously they don’t value what you do or you would be happier to stay.. look out for yourself
The worst is if your work is dependent on the quality of other people's work. When theirs are blocking yours, you spend good amount your time to help to do their work then leaves with little time for your own work. You then get blamed if anything in your area is having issue because you don't have enough time or have to ki-l yourself to finish. What a pathetic situation.
I don’t believe there is an artificial worker shortage..when people have been riffed or just walk.. people are not replaced
