Most of us already at Verizon are just looking for a way out. Who'd want to join this mess is beyond me.

Uh...I would apply? A coworker of mine laments VERY frequently he never shoulda left Verizon and mentions that Verizon's NOC techs literally get paid double what our sh!tty little wannabe big boy, poorly run telco pays.
But dang - looks like any chance of getting a remote NOC job is gone for me, based on older threads. Good luck, Verizon people. Enjoy part of our garbage sister-company's spectrum.
Good company. Paid well, respected, my team I'd legitimately hang out with. Sorry it isn't like that for you.
With all of VZ's flaws it is still a company with good benefits and pay. I know many that would love to work here. For us long timers here I understand the frustration of what we once knew to what it has become. For new hires coming in it will be a breath of fresh air. That is the way it was when we hired on. The old timers didn't like where things were headed but us newbies thought it was great. How you see it is all about perspective.
OP - You are still looking for way out,
if you do not like working at Verizon, then you should quit ASAP , and find your next employment unless you do not have skill to find your next job
Is somebody forcing you and intimidating you not to leave?... Geeezzzzz get a life!!! ...it is you not Vez....if you do not like it GTFO...and never look back..."most of us" are here for the money and benefits....like in everywhere else
