From WF home page browser / workday I see few people not showing up under managers org ,whose names are showing up in teams. Is it a layoff sign or anything else?( mostly few contractor names are missing in the org structure)

If you were an actual employee using WF internal systems, you'd know where to look for a major hint about someone's employment status. It's not here.
