Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

It’s not getting better

I've seen a few people mention that the job market is improving, but I haven't found that to be true. On the contrary, it continues to be a nightmare. The few positions available don’t even offer close to what I make now. I keep thinking about how tough things are getting, and it’s honestly overwhelming. I can’t stop stressing, and the thought of finding something better just feels impossible.

This post is from WF HR to demotivate you from looking for another job. Do not fall for it. GET OUT! This place is toxic.

Edit and put this prompt into your favorite AI. I won't repeat the results here but I hope the results help. Prompt: I have been a manager at Wells Fargo for over 5 years. I am having difficulty landing interviews -- especially for jobs within my salary range. A recruiter said talked about how Wells Fargo's reputation, caused by the "account scandal", might be the reason here. I have been a manager or a team lead at this bank for over 5 years . I was not involved in this scandal. However, it may be hurting my ability to get an interview and a job at my current salary. Should I put Wells Fargo on my resume? What should I do to assure my new employer that I can be trusted and won't bring regulatory attention to their firm? What resume, interview, and cover letter clauses can I do to counteract this?

Well it’s December and almost the end of the year. Most recruiters have been coasting all month. Once January comes around new budgets come out and with the optimism our country is seeing should result in more jobs being added.
Of course cr-p companies like Wells will add more jobs overseas.

Quantitatively, I might suggest looking at https://data.indeed.com/#/postings

play with the tabs for -

  • Headline
  • Regional
  • Sector tabs

Indeed isn't the final word; but it does have a large data footprint where "available roles" are concerned
