Agreed, and I work at your competitor. The Gold Rush of telecom sales is over. Enterprise businesses and government will still overpay for legacy wireless service from Red and Blue, but the consumer game is cooked. My prediction is in 5 years connectivity will be a blended service of fiber and wired networks, 5G/6G and most importantly satellite. Now that TMO has connected an endpoint device to sat the race is on. I would work at Home Depot before working at ANY wireless brick and mortar.
Carriers are like commodities now, i.e., it doesn't matter what carrier you have at this point. They are all good enough. Now its a price to zero war, especially with the phone subsidies. and now the phones have kind of peaked in terms of the their features. in conclusion, the industry as a employer is going to be further challenging.
Yea... No real advantage... I'm sure big red will streamline in January!
Sad to see the network isn't enough any more. It takes acting like we are giving free devices to people just to have them pay the exorbitant prices we charge.
Not really. Carriers are just becoming irrelevant d-mb pipes.
