Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Tuesday Town Hall

After that email they sent today, I wonder if they’ll let us stay home for the rest of the year rather than force us into office. What do you all think?

wonder if DC's very expensive security detail took a look at the cr-ppy survey results and last week's happenings and said, "um, no."

would be nice if they showed that same level of concern for the rest of us schmoes, those forced back inside after over a decade working remote.

so what, are we supposed to just keep our fingers crossed that none of the people pushed to the brink with these neverending monthly layoffs and the pointless RTO attendance rules/reporting that unfairly applies to some but not all can keep it together and not flip out? seems like a recipe for disaster and sorry but i don't think a foosball table and ping pong are going to keep our building safe.

you can't have it both ways. if it's unsafe to gather at HQ, then it's unsafe for those of us stuck there on the daily too, not just the ELT. or it is only unsafe for the lucky ones who get to w@h?

we've all had enough of this RTO.

No, they don’t want multiple executives in one spot for a known pre planned event. That has nothing to do with regular folks below the c suite

"To that end, we are minimizing large scale company gatherings and keeping our teams as close to their home base and support systems as possible"

Since I have no support system in the office, I'm taking this as permission to work at home indefinitely.
