I think my manager is remoting into my computer and monitoring my screen. Why? And why every day? I don’t think she does this to everyone but just me. My question is why? This is so creepy. I asked her about it but she instead asks questions instead which led me to believe she is and lying about it. Why? Just why? Don’t they have work to do?

Current manager here. THe person who "confirmed" we have these abilities with "[an] IT Rep" is absolutely wrong. Most of us managers below the VP level aren't treated much different than those that report to us. We fill out the same timecards, are responsible for the same work getting done, including us doing it if no one else is there or can. We get to find out about layoffs and firings at the last minute most of the time, and all the secrets you get mad that the company is keeping, they're kept from us too. Usually we get to know an hour or two before the anouncement, if we're told in advance at all.
In the end we get a slightly higher paycheck to be the first to blame if there is a problem. We get held to higher standards (5x9 RTO anyone?), and otherwise trated like punching bags for that little extra money
The main people you should worry about, and maybe even fear to a degree are in the C-suites. And a handful of the SVP/VP that are anointed as well. They're the ones making all of our lives miserable.
Confirmed with previous IT Rep and yes, all managers have the capability to remote into your computer and view what you are doing. They also have the ability to view your MS Teams, messages and calls. Just wish they were honest about it. Now I know.
"If you are working, you have nothing to worry about."
Former employees: say what?
I have worked here for quite some time and in many managerial positions. I have never heard of this capability. Are you in the office and working like you’re supposed to? Are you meeting your goals? If yes, why do you care? If you’re not doing anything wrong, there’s nothing to worry about.
If you are working, you have nothing to worry about. Equal troll post. We are not slaves.
The call center user screens can be seen by managers
Sapience takes images of your screen on a regular basis. You may notice performance issues as it is gathering the data.
I thought that call center managers could record calls and screen movements. “ for training purposes.”
This is yet another TROLL post. Managers don't have the capability to remote into your machine.
