Has anyone heard anything about how lunch breaks work and if badging out to grab food counts against you? I am curious if I can simply leave the office for an hour each day

Grade level 11 and up in office 9 hours a day, Sapience 9 hours a day. If you take an hour lunch break but stayed in office for 9 hours, you are an hour short of Sapience time, but you can WFH after you got home to make up the Sapience time.
So basically no one has a clue?
Was told 9 badged hours in the office and 8 hours sapience time. This was also in a policy document I saw but do not see this on fuel yet for NA.
Both are correct. There are two sets of rules depending on your level.
If you have permission to work from home on Friday (lower level employee), you are supposed to put eight hours of work each day. You can take one hour for lunch that is not included, so you if you leave you will leave nine hours after you arrive. Or eight hours after you arrive if you work through your lunch. Sapience expects eight hours of activity.
If you are required to be in the office on Friday (managers and higher level employees). You need to put in nine hours of work each day. If you leave for lunch you can leave ten hours after you arrive, or nine hours if you work through lunch. Sapience expects nine hours of activity.
By having two sets of rules overlapping like this it is maximizing the amount of confusion imposed on the workforce. Also the person that you would ask for clarification would have a different set of rules than the person asking. It is almost awe inspiring how disruptive this policy roll out is.
My GBS director said 9 working hours or fired
Yes, you can leave for an hour each day without it counting against you. Badge tracking starts at 7 AM and ends at 7 PM.
It's first badge in to last badge out. Don't listen to the last post by FB.
Leave for an hour makes it 10 hours. It is 9 production hours of work.
