I don’t think anyone needs worry about getting rehired by Fiserv, it’s unlikely the company survives another 5 years of financial engineering and asset stripping. Best to sell your shares at the high and get out while you still can. Think about all the contracts the business has signed the last few years that that they have no intention or capacity to fulfill.
Better tip, put in for PTO then resign. Let one of your two weeks notice be a paid vacation and your last day be the Monday following said vacation.
Plenty of other companies. Plus everyone you know will most likely be gone
The only downside to this advice is if your manager marks you as ineligible for rehire and the company turns around under different leadership. If that manager is gone, it is very hard to get you rehired.
Things change a lot over time. Trust me, when FB and his cronies are gone in a few years, the next round of leaders might really be leaders.
