Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Severance is the only thing keeping me at CVS

If it weren't for a very realistic chance of me being laid off sometime soon, I'd be long gone by now.

The severance isn’t worth waiting if you can get a better offer elsewhere.

@OP+1vL0lGJK I've been saying the same thing. Just give me severance! Let me go!

Severance isn’t worth your mental health.

If things keep going the way they are get a passport and go to Canada and Start over. This is bad.

Stop lying. If you were competent you’d be gone

Possibly a mistake. CVS will eliminate severance in the coming year and just get people to leave. Their situation is that dire. They borrowed $90 Billion and pummeled the purchase. Now they are debt laden. The opi--d payments are coming due. A break up will shift the debt onto the better business, probably insurance. Severance won’t last very long. Problems don’t get solved. As one of their corrupt Executive Directors said under oath, “ We just kick the can down the road and try to avoid lawsuits.” This is what that tactic gets you.
