Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Yes, not everyone who works for CVS is a store employee. Thousands of us are professionals, office workers and staff.

We used to have the day after Thanksgiving off at Aetna. CVS took that away.

This is a ridiculous comment. Its a shopping/sale day, not a holiday of any sort

I'm hearing Black Friday was a dump can't give away stuff! People are on edge! Massive Layoffs Coming in everything!

I met and worked with 100 plus people at cvs and I can tell from experience working with them that not even 1/4 know what they are doing with their jobs. So the mediocre part seems spot on here. I also read the earlier post about people with 2,3 years experience would hold manager title at cvs, which I think contribute a lot to the mediocrity of cvs. We cant hire top talents and at the same time we cannot retain top talents. Lot of people want to get out now but they cant because they cannot find job else where that would give them the same title or salary. The ones that can find better job and salary in this market are actually top talents and we would lose them.

Got myself a new job 2 months ago. With Wednesday-Friday company holidays. I ended up using PTO for 2 more days and have 9 days off. I’m happy to be out of that shithole CVS

Losers at cvs can convince themselves otherwise. We all gotta make our “happiness” even if that means lying

I got Thursday and Friday off at my new job lol. Together with the hefty salary increase. Now I usually wonder why I would stay at cvs that long and listen to all the lies from management. So d-mb when think about it. Most of the people that stay there are mediocre and cannot find jobs elsewhere, especially in this economy
