Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Paperwork in

Around 1700 let go. More than 50% were over 50. So of course they take more time off- we have earned it! I even specially asked when hired and the response was “you are unlimited”- I took 3.5 weeks with no days off this past year for sickness. Not one.

They had to use this as an excuse. And now everyone has to be in the office 9 hours. Even those who have to take 6:30 am calls at home- doesn’t count. Going back to 1980 controls. So glad I was given a severance and was let go. Worst company ever to work for!

"For the "clover" part of the business, ICs (irrespective of grade) are 4 days 9hrs/day and people managers are 5 days 9hrs a day, 9am to 6pm. it's 8 hrs of work + 1 hour of unpaid break. "

Do you get that in writing? It's not in the official policy.

Grapevine says that quite a number of VP's, Directors, Product Managers and Managers were RIF'd.

And that he positions spanned IT, Service Management, Client Services and Information Technology.

If you are grade 11 and above, yes. Not everyone.
