Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The week after Thanksgiving is a free week

The week after Thanksgiving is always a free week of vacation.
You may not say it out loud but we’re all thinking it. Nobody works, and supervisors are idle for the entire day. Meetings are not well attended and there is nothing meaningful planned because it’s a free for all. Oh AT&T, you are so savvy in catching us aren’t you. BWAHAAAHAA. It takes one to know one and we employees know that you suits are the laziest bunch that ever lived. So thank you for my extra week vacation. I deserve it because you are incompetent and ill regarded. If you can do whatever it is that you do then so can I. BWWAHAHAHA!!!

"It’s the week I train my peers to do my job before I leave in 12/13."

Don't bother.

The remaining month of the year is a free for all.

No 3 days in office!

What’s the point? 5 days is the new metric to track. Take December off, come back fresh.

The kids are off school for the last two weeks. This is why we have caregiver time. Use remaining vacation in the next 2 weeks then caregiver for the last 2 weeks

Enjoy the last month of “work/life balance”

The company wants to know what it’s like to have less employees, show them for the next 30 days..

Boasting about not doing any work is probably not the flex you may believe it to be.

Its shopping week. Swipe the door, logon, and then off I go holiday shopping for the day. Thanks to RTO, the mall is only 3 miles away from my office.

Some of us are busy ... learning jobs of our peers who cannot relocate and are off payroll on 12/13

Congrats. You're the circus monkey who doesn't know how to say no.

More work? More pay, otherwise there's no discussion.

Some of us are busy cross training and learning jobs of our peers who cannot relocate and are off payroll on 12/13. So enjoy your “easy” week. You are obviously a stellar employee.
