Thread regarding Cengage layoffs

Happy Holidays!

Greetings,

As we gather to remember the National Day of Mourning, I want to make an announcement that should excite and invigorate the Cenforce almost as much as a hot yoga session.

As we enter the holiday season, many of you will receive the gift of opportunity in the coming weeks. Advancement, opportunity, and a sense of self are essential components of mental health, an area that the Leadership team takes very seriously and is actively engaged in improving. Employee well-being and satisfaction scores near the top of each employee engagement survey.

I am pleased to announce that many of you will soon be gifted the chance to become your own CEO. In return, we are extending the opportunity to bring members of developing nations, such as India and China, the chance to join the Cenforce.

These actions underscore our commitment to diversity and strengthen the long-term strategic plan, allowing us to navigate changes successfully in the marketplace and the EdTech space, a vertical Cengage defined and continues to dominate while riding on the bleeding edge of change.

I am confident that the changes we will put forth in the next few weeks will be as disruptive and innovative as Cengage Unlimited, which has proven to be an unmitigated success. Your direct manager will be available to answer any questions you may have as this strategic realignment begins to offer new and exciting opportunities and challenges to the entire organization.

Happy Holidays.

Full Stop!

An office in China is hilarious. They’ve probably already ripped off everything they could.

We are so close to Christmas, no way they would lay off anyone now, especially anyone with a family.

Haha. Glad to hear someone else say it: the IPS schtick was old years ago. As was the IPS worship.

But Cengagians come by it honestly. The disenchanted pander to IPS on TheLayoff and the true believers pander to leadership on First Friday calls. Different idol, same learned pattern of behavior.

I get that we all have to serve somebody, but at the point at which you start liking it, it's time to reevaluate your life choices.

Good lord, this schtick was old six months ago. I loathe Cengage with something akin to passion, but IPS has become a boring parody of himself.
