Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Sui-idal Thoughts

This place is causing me to have sui-idal thoughts and really bad nightmares. It has gotten so toxic here. Am I the only one?

Alpharetta here… I work on the third floor and I consistently peer down the stairwell wondering if I go head first, how bad it will be.

So, no, you’re not alone. The only thing that stops me is my family. Sounds like we both need to resign as this place has gotten so toxic. Don’t do it. We will find another job.

Please don’t let a job rip you away from your family. We care about you. Please seek help. You’re worth more than that.

You are definitely not alone several have resigned bc of the physical and mental toll of not having enough people to support our clients. It’s become a total nightmare here and getting worse by the day!

It's THEM. They are choosing to act toxic. It's not YOU. You are better than this place. This job won't be forever, and one day you won't think about it much. It will be a bad memory.

If you are really feeling this way you need to have a serious conversation with your manager about your role, expectations and setting work / life boundaries and of your not seeing a change or no one wants to help then you must start looking for a new job. Absolutely no job is worth what you are taking about. In the meantime you need to separate your job from the rest of your life and find ways to keep Fiserv off the brain when your are not in the office.

This is only a job. Do what you have to do to take care of yourself and your family. There are other jobs out there. There is only one you.

If you need to turn to temporary assistance, use it.

Can relate a little bit but more like this place is a toxic waste dump. As previous poster said, it’s not worth it. Get out. I’m assuming you were going through it while they were promoting “su----e awareness month” in October or September.

No job is worth that. If you see the mental health issues that many posters have posted before you recently… You’re not alone. Please take care of yourself first and foremost. This place will still be setting the furniture on fire for a few years until Frank is gone.

It's bad, toxic, and the culture of this company has taken a nose dive. But nothing is worth the thoughts your having. This job can be temporary and the grass will be greener. Easier said than done but your life is worth more. Stay well.
