Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

The name Truist?

Anyone else thought about the insane deception from Bill, Beau, (and potentially Mark Chancy is the bank sells to Wells), with this take over? To name the bank Truist is such a fake and disgusting thing to do? Who were they trying to convince this was anything to do with being True. Jail time would be adequate for these criminals and personal reparations paid to former employees and current employees that have been sc--wed by your childish game.

What is deceptive is how much this is living in one’s mind creating compulsive repetitive posts

' you have years of good will and name recognition in both of the heritage bank's names and they just threw it away'

When I heard that leadership was going to get rid of both names and replace it with Truist, I knew the merger was doomed. Leadership immediately complained and acted concerned about the cost of merging the bank when they made a decision to spend millions on renaming and rebranding, unnecessarily. What a joke our leaders are.

Not sure who she is however rent free is in full effect, repetitive posts, can’t move on, not sure how much she makes however with inflation etc not sure who is being over paid these days

The good news none of this has to do with layoffs like most of the posts here

Sheri’s trolls are out on social media with their passive aggressive comments. I’m sure they have nothing to worry about as they are gainfully employed, overpaid, and still have benefits.

Uh, Im not sure this company is living so rent free in the heads of folks outside of a few clearly deranged individuals that post the same kind of thing over and over on this board.

Weird post but has a point, what a cr-ppy name. I hate telling people I work at Truist then having to explain it then we both agree it's a cr-ppy name and the conversation moves on. Also what a d-mb business move, you have years of good will and name recognition in both of the heritage bank's names and they just threw it away. What a clown show failed merger this has been. We need drastic changes and we need them yesterday, starting with this horrendous name.

Nothing worse than drinking and grinding an axe let’s start a poll on how many back to back posts of the same topic will occur
