Then I joined CVS, and I've been constantly stressing about layoffs. It's affecting my life and has me worried for my future. With cuts happening nonstop, how’s anyone supposed to build a life, let alone settle down? I feel like I'm stuck in survival mode, and it’s exhausting.

This is everywhere across the board everything is about to collapse!
If only I was 26! I'd invest in myself and definitely find a field that is not so volatile. Radiology or sonography pay well.
Don't stress over something you can't control. You could be laid off from any company.
Everyone working here is trash at their job - look around you. Get out of here
My executive director doesn’t even show up. Useless.
Run away from CVS ASAP! Culture is toxic, pay is mediocre and leadership is inept.
Best thing I ever did was leave and never looked back.
What happened to the CVS Corporate Culture? The paid shill corporate dimwits put a string of minuses on a post from a 26 year old kid who is demoralized. The shills on this site helped demoralize him. Shame on you! Layoffs are one thing and a demoralized work force is another. You are paid imbeciles.
CVS is the worst place on earth to work.
The culture is broken and that will be proven by the replies you see to your post.
You are young, resilient and you will be fine.
Good luck with your new job.
There are never guarantees with any job. You are an employee at will. This is life, get used to it.
Don’t take advice from this forum lol
Start a business. Get into compounding and specialty pharmaceuticals. You can sell supplements. Write a business plan and execute it. This is your chance. The alternative is being a random number for dimwits who can’t run a business and will tank the business that is paying your bills. Start a business.
Get out of this dump and don’t look back. You’re young
