Their concern is HPE's inability to handle ASICs. Juniper got inhouse built ASICs for their routers and switches. If concerned, they must deny the deal otherwise move forward.
What explanation they need from HPE execs is something I didn't understand.

A “concern” isn’t a fact. It’s an opinion and you ask the company to explain why the opinion could be wrong.
Also the DOJ doesn’t “deny”. They decide if they’re willing to go to court to stop it. That’s a high threshold to meet.
