Does Verizon control this site? I know it’s mostly for layoff discussions, but it’s also become a place to vent for those of us still here, dealing with the constant frustration. Yes, Verizon pays well, and this job provides for my family, so I appreciate that. But the repeated poor decisions from leadership are exhausting. You watch as incompetence leads to more layoffs and restructures—things that never should’ve happened in the first place. Certain departments and initiatives are getting attention they don’t deserve.
Maybe this isn’t the best place to vent, but I’ve seen people post under disguised names and get removed. So, who’s monitoring this site? Is there somewhere else we can vent? We’re all human, and sometimes we just need to get it out. If venting helps me get through another holiday season with a fake smile at work, let me have that.
