Knowing Fiserv's MO, hardworking employees are gone and slackers are still here. Am I wrong?

I’m in GBS Tech and in my department, they let go of 3 tech people and they were okay. Never put on PIP
There are folks that were put on PIP and are still here. and they still are deadweight.
Do they keep these "promotions" between the unicorns and rainbows? Are you sure you are on the correct location because we clearly work for different companies.
@1srz+1vBA1WqI So you must be in a department that still had the luxury of deadweight, this is not the case across the board. You think the payroll is freed up for promotions? Your head is where the sun don't shine, the cuts were made to save money not further compensate those left taking up the slack, idjut. Now the lowest of your remaining performers just took on the deadweight tag, so look out during the next round.
Please…this narrative perpetuated on this board that Fiserv lets go of their most qualified people is a joke. My department was hit and no one that got cut was a surprise and we’re business as usual since they were largely dead weight anyway. As an added bonus, payroll has been freed up to give well deserved promotions to other staff in the department. I honestly don’t know where you are all working, not the same place I come to every day.
The dead weight in my department is gone.
The slack jaws that skated... peace, don't let the door hit ya, where the dog should have bit ya.
For the ones that stood up for themselves, should have worked on the resume to get out.
This bs of -do the job to get the job- is the most BS line for - "they can do it"
Yes. For my department you're wrong.
Definitely the case in my department
