If more lay offs are coming, any idea when the shoe will drop? November or after the end of the year?

Humana must give at least a 60 day notice period if a certain% being laid off, so count back 60 days from 12/31 if it’s your last day. Typically last RIF if year occurs somewhere between 10/25 and 11/2. Since 11/2 is a Saturday this year, I suspect meetings will be next week.

Huh? know for a fact? please post source of the 'fact'.
To OP, more like waiting for a b*mb to dentonate.
10/30-11/15 is the max range for layoff this year. If you survive beyond 11/15, then you can stay without such notice until New Year 2025.
HR blocks terminations from Thanksgiving through New Year. Layoff announcements have come within that time before but were not effective until after holidays.
Any layoff talk from the government business side? They lost 7 states in the contract.
What on earth does the previous comment (pasted below) in this feed have anything to do with the original post?! btw: I am not a Boomer, and it IS discrimintory and offensive.

A director once told me that Humana HR had a policy that no layoffs between Thanksgiving til EOY. Historically, the last layoffs of the year have been first week of November.
In the town hall today they mentioned all the revenue generation for coming year will be finalized with in the next 6 weeks. Layoffs might be announced probably in December.
@EveryPostHere what departments will be affected that you know of “for sure?”.
From my 14 years of tenure at Humana, it is normally Nov-Dec, but have also seen layoffs randomly throughout the year. Layoffs are really common in this industry unforunately. There are posters from Cigna on this site as well. Cigna just had a huge layoff. I am not sure if this is their corporate strategy to position themselves to buy/merge with Humana.
