Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

CEO doesn't care about y'all...

Antonio Neri doesn't care about y'all...

Let me remember.

You'll get 2 week's to "train your replacement", but you'll use any vacation you have available and then you'll have 2 more weeks to find a job inside HPE.

That means you're either in another job or cut loose by Nov 1.

Wow unlimited vacation! It’s really quite brilliant. It obviously makes it even easier to lay people off. No vacation payout. As if it isn’t already easy enough. Wait how is this even legal?

Why I got the 2 wks notice only on April 8 and I was told - you don’t need to work in the following 2 weeks and last day was April 19 in my HPE paycheck, if it is illegal?

That changes nothing for 80% of us: HPE does not pay out vacation time in states that allow it.

Actually you get 2 weeks, then 60 days to find a job internally, before they cut you loose with the rest of your severance.

The kicker now is that the new "unlimited" vacation policy kicks in after November 1st. So if you are let go after that, you get $0 for your unused vacation time.

I wrote that 19 days ago and got 51 upvotes in a thread about layoffs on 9/30. Why are you copying my post? You even copied a grammatical error. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!
