Truist doesn’t owe you anything beyond what you are paid for. You do your work, they give you a paycheck, as simple as that. So why do some people feel like they deserve extra? If you’ve already been compensated, what else could you possibly expect? That’s not how these things work.

What a clown for posting this garbage. Boot-licking mo--n. You do know that the average salary increase in the US is currently 4%, while Truist regurlarly doles out tiny 2% increases. That adds up over the years, we are ALL falling behind because management is GREEDY.
OP is clueless, or in management (most likely both).
@ppx+1v7GFICY, AGREE
@OP+1v7GFICY. I didnt ask as a manager to be logged in almost around the clock to monitor resources I didn’t get to interview or vet while they supposedly monitor critical banking systems they know nothing about. I didn’t ask to have more incidents and be on calls a lot more&longer because those resources take longer to resolve issues. I didn’t ask to be in meetings most of the day. The list goes on. The work wouldn’t go on though if paid by the hour.
I throw up a little every time I look at the people on the Operating Clowncil. SunTruist acting as if they have this large group making decisions when the world knows it’s Bill, Beau and Joe making all the wrong moves. Having a twenty three member group provides them some cover and mo--ns to throw overboard.
To the original poster. Ok I get it, you are hired to do a job, you perform that job, and you get paid. Don’t expect extra’s. But, I think you are missing the bigger picture. Most of us would like to have some pathway to build a career, have some semblance of job security and not always have to worry if we will be outsourced or get laid off due to the leadership’s inability to run a profitable bank. To EL, please stop telling us you care, b/c we all know you don’t, and it’s fine that you don’t care. Just please stop insulting our intelligence by saying that you do! Most of us would also like it if our benefits didn’t get cut and our bonuses getting slashed with little to no annual pay increase all the while upper management and EL gets big pay and bonuses on top of bonuses.
So got it, do your job, get paid, shut up! But most of us didn’t sign up for this current environment and culture but a lot of us are stuck in small markets with few options and we think it su-ks.
Well seeing as how part of the PMV leadership loves to spout so much about includes Care and Happiness, I would expect both of those things. There is more to a meaningful career than money but some of you Patrick Bateman types just don’t seem to understand that.
Becoming Wells Fargo lite
Threats, job instability, horrific management, and terrible culture aren’t typically considered acceptable. Most ppl would accept a paycheck to go into a holocaust camp?
So we hire a wells fargo treasury exec to lead and run wealth platform. You really can’t make this stuff up. One of Kristin’s friends. Classic
