We are told that VZB techs are going to be reorganized into something like FIOs garages for this, with hiring additional techs as well. All to make sure the SSTs can’t lay claim to the work. Great job CWA.

The downward spiral continues.

It sounds to me like it's something that doesn't need to be displayed on the layoff. If you needed to know, you would know.

FWA wow.... sadly it doesn't work well in most areas. I had multiple friends and family try it to just return it.

rTumpsNutz come on now, you said it was a new technology and service. What else is there that would be bigger than AI destroying jobs? Give us all a solid hint so we can at least determine if this project isn't anything more than another small launch of a sad product like go90.

Im guessing its similar to this, which basically is going to replace most call center agents over the next 2 years:

Well said @1mot+1v1woFIY. If you don't know what this project does, you do not need to know. It's incomprehensible someone felt comfortable enough to share an internal project on this board. It's a small universe who actively are around these projects, you will be found out.

You make us look bad.

No it is not related to proactive churn calls. It's a somewhat new technology service offering for customers. You can call whatever you want, I really could care less.

Is this in relation to making outbound calls to proactively sell or save customers by making offers? There was a pilot and rumor was it went well. If it's not, please tell us what this project is around. I'm calling BS on it unless you actually can give something substantial.

Yes I know but refuse to say because I don't think it's good to reveal internal projects early on a message board.

"It's out there with other providers" - I was not aware but can you corroborate that with a link to their equivalent?

Trying something new!? Been trying for ever and it’s out there with other providers. It’s not new. I hope it works but it’s not new.

Sounds like more ESG / DEI un-'sustainable' nonsense. The company really needs to return its focus on being a communications powerhouse.
