Prepare for more layoffs till November.
Chase loves laying ppl off right before Thanksgiving.
I've seen this in the past 3 years.
Also white collar jobs are declining, no more fun bloated teams sitting there and doing nothing, acting busy; most jobs have shipped to Bengaluru and Argentina while they cut 3 ppl on our team last week.
We know who the toxic busy braggers are and most of them are middle mgrs including EDs and some devs, just sitting in meetings who can't make decisions at all.
I also know one product lady who came on L1 visa got shipped back to Hyderabad cause she was useless.
Anyway, that's all the update.

Lots if "senior" devs in my team don't even know how to write a unit test.
Now the project is crashing down hard.
Those type of developers do project management and act as a bridge between onshore and offshore employees
As of now i think atleast 30-40% developers cannot code . Not sure how they are surviving.
MD just sent a 9AM meeting invite at 4PM without any event message- layoffs, right?
Hopefully this doesn't impact project management roles...
By any chance did you know what department will be layoff. Hear lots people quit in Manila so we getting busy.
Agree 200%
Do not be fooled of what your mgrs tell you.
I learned lesson after getting rif'd
