I have noticed many tenured agents gone in my department. People who have been here for 5 years plus. I'm starting to personally feel victimized. The constant micromanaging all of the sudden and all the new emails of them digging and digging as far as they call to find the smallest human mistake they can find to send me. I keep noticing people missing more and more as the year goes on. Are our jobs even secure at this point?

Yes. They absolutely are
They might have the pressure to pay for the settlement claim soon, so they need to do RIF at companywide level to raise fund. https://www.healthcarefinancenews.com/news/humana-pay-90-million-settle-allegedly-fraudulent-part-d-bids
They are finding any reason to fire people. A former colleague was let go recently for following a managers advice.
Eventually, she was let go because this advice went against company policy. I know it can be investigated, as everything is recorded on teams but she did not think it was worth it. I left earlier this year and it has been horror story after horror story since then.
As a former tenured employee, Humana does not have the best interest of members and employees in mind. They rake millions of money every year and continue to have dozens of layoffs while hiring for executive positions.
My manager did micromanage me, but the program directors were hounding down on managers too for explanations on why Medicaid and Medicare was so expensive. My last straw was when other talented and top performers left. I realized that there was nothing good out of pf a company that doesn't understand Medicare and Medicaid populations.
Humana as a whole is rapidly going downhill in terms of engagement and upholding core values. Clinical operations in particular is a cesspool of nepotism and cut throatery. Everyone out to get ahead and stomp on their peers who they fear are their competition. Anyone with half a brain that wants to grow their career is overlooked or promised things such as promotions if they’ll work harder but then they’re just used up and thrown out. Hiring practices are borderline illegal and don’t get me started on the stuff the organization is doing to save money. It’s all about sc--wing over our members by denying the cra$ out of their requests for care. I smell a lawsuit coming if they aren’t careful.
Been saying this since last RIF when they laid off newbies with no severance. They don’t want to pay severance. Many older employees were found being coached “to be successful” yet they had been successful for many years. So, yes, Humana is trying to manage out employees with higher pay, more PTO, bigger severance packages, etc. It is obvious.
Wow, seriously? I put a lot of thought into that. Not everything has to sound like AI, you know.
Wow last post sounds like AI Post ID: @nhw+1uzGW2UH
I hear your concerns, and I appreciate you bringing them up. It's tough to see colleagues leave, and I understand how the changes can feel overwhelming.
The micromanagement and increased scrutiny are part of an effort to improve efficiency, but I can see how it feels more like a witch hunt. I want to assure you that job security is a priority for us, and we are here to support you. I recommend a one-on-one to discuss how to make this environment more manageable for you. Your well-being is most important to the team.
I would like to add that some of these so called processes we are doing wrong are not in the process to follow. So basically if we follow the process it's wrong or we didn't do enough and if we don't follow the process it's still wrong
