Nike used to be a well-oiled machine with a solid formula for winning in both sports and sneakers. Then JD came in and completely changed the game, throwing everything off track. He wrecked the category offense, lost ground in sports, burned bridges with wholesalers, oversaturated the sneaker market until it wasn’t even cool anymore, and fired thousands of employees. He ruined Nike’s talent management, leading to the exit of some of the most capable and experienced potential-next-CEO leaders. And guess what? He was making over three times what MP did while doing all of this. 30-50 million a year.

If you add up all expenses Nike folks wasted partying, I meant working, across the globe on Nike's dime it's just peanuts what he earns
How the heck he still has this job! If this was an employee who is consistently performing bad year after year, they would have been put on performance improvement plan and fired!
Instead JD gets a private jet and 30mil in salary ! Amazing
Worse than the guy who fell in the lake.
JD is not the only problem, the entitled FTE inside the berm are bigger issue for Nike. None of them have any skills to take Nike into future.
They should kick off our next all employee meeting by reading this summary.
Please welcome Mr. Uncool to the stage...
It's the high price we have to pay for having a white messiah as CEO.
Replacing JD might be a good place to start
Yeah, OG. We heard and discussed it already thousands of times here and on LinkedIn.
Anything new to add? Maybe some solutions how to get out of this mess?
