What good do these fines do when they just go to the feds, and the customers are still SOL?
time to modernize CEO's and send them packing, let's replace them with AI
Some are saying it is a small price to pay, but wondering how much fines T is paying every year. This kind of info is never disclosed by Stankey or Little Rascal to employees and shareholders.
A Big "Nothing Burger." Should have been $113 million to even matter. What a clown show.
Didn't the IRS lose all US Taxpayer SS#s via a data breach? I wonder how much their fine will be and who will pay it. Smh
That’s another 130 layoffs.
*The FCC is also investigating a much larger data breach at involving AT&T.
Expect more fines.*
And expect them to be much bigger since this $13M one didn't expose any particularly sensitive information like the subsequent ones.
"The exposed data included information like the number of lines on an account and in a few cases bill balance and rate plan information but did not contain credit card information, Social Security Numbers, account passwords and other sensitive personal information, AT&T and the FCC said." -Reuters
Haha this is awesome
The CEO should publish his yearly goals and tells us all how data breaches, employee culture and morale and stock price rank as part of his fundamental responsibilities.
And where is Not-So-McElfresh? Doesn’t he always have something to say about how amazing the company is running with his pucker lips for John?
A large part of funding for the fine should come from CSO terminations.
It's not a flaw, it's a feature.
We are the best at attempting to be the best!
AND, expect way more data breaches. Let's here it for the 4th industrial revolution folks 🙌 Thank you for making life so easy for us!!
That should be deducted from Stankey’s paycheck.
Now you know why you were laid off and where the money goes. T is mismanaged.
