If your company is doing mass lay off’s there shouldn’t be any open positions.

I don’t think you understand how a business works
The location strategy is to get run off all the US Workers and send everything for pennies on the dollar to I&P.
That mindset is why we are having so many major issues in IT lately. QA suffers from lack of knowledge in testing and you are giving those who hack data offshore DIRECT access to the data they want to hack.
Just leave the car unlocked and the keys in the ignition.... sad
There is no location strategy, just another fake excuse for downsizing people. The people running this place are habitual liars.
If you’re losing people bc of location strategy then there is likely a need to backfill.
The thing that pi---s me off is new execs from the outside hiring more execs from the outside. These aren’t 100k a year positions. They’re several hundred 1000s if not million plus. BE just created a new org and brought in one of her folks. He was at Amex like 3 months. Tell me we didn’t have to pay money to make him whole for leaving so soon.
The "half a-s" people are mostly in Hudson Yards, so yeah, they aren't being downsized.
Nah.... They already have enough people doing half a** jobs. They want people who actually want the job and are willing to work for it.
