Stankey sent out a message this morning saying "something" was coming to reward CP managers for their efforts during the strike, but I would ask any Exempt Manager who was activated during the strike to keep careful notes on what time you worked and on what your duties were during that time. Per the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), a person cannot be misclassified into a job. In other words, if you go from a desk job, like finance, which is an exempt position to a pole climbing technician and you are not transitioned to a non-exempt status, that could be a violation of the FLSA. AT&T could be looking at a class-action lawsuit based on unpaid overtime hours.

“ My deposit was unchanged... I don't believe the extra bonus post”
Exactly. Also when was anything actually completed in a timely manner. It’ll need discussed for six months first.
My deposit was unchanged... I don't believe the extra bonus post
Just received my bonus in an early deposit to my checking account. I can’t see the actual number but I can see that my check is about 4k more.
Nice!
Wait,
They’re voting it down?!
Hahaha
Fu-k Stankey.
D3 is voting it down, a lot of us were surprised we came back so soon. The “Union slugs won’t strike” didn’t age well.
A nice t-shirt from the AT&T Brand shop and a certificate you can print out and put on your desk.
I worked $33,000 in overtime. Boss gave me…. Nothing. Not even an extra day off. Oh and a 1.6% raise the following year with a great rating.
“One of my folks got the equivalent of $100/day they were deployed. Plus per diems while they were on assignment of course.”
Hahaha, 100 a day?
I worked 84 hours the first week. 44 hours of overtime in just the first week and you think we believe your guys got 100 a day?
Thats 108 hours of time beyond a 40 hr week.
A single hour at time and a half is more than 100.
This post is ridiculous.
“Don’t get too excited, the TA hasn’t been ratified yet. We may get redeployed if D3 votes it down like D9 did their’s.”
Not happening. D3 was out for a month. 11% crossed and another 10-20% we’re going to cross Monday.
Don’t let the Union posturing fool you. How would you finances look if you missed a month of pay?
I guarantee both D3 and D9 vote to ratify.

No they didn’t. The last check was two weeks ago and we were no where near the end. 100 a day would be a joke. I make over 70 an hour and put in almost 90 additional hours. Thats only counting the extra 4 hrs a day. Not the extra 16hrs a day I was truly devoting.
Specific INFOR coding for exempt managers working a CP assignment. Easy enough and yes, the payout will be nice.

Costco membership
$25 - $50 gift card

Maybe a perfect attendance award.
I got $200 for working during the holidays and my vacation to pass a SOX audit
More details please. How did you avoid getting activated?
“
I was an exempt manager deployed for four days in the Southeast strike in 2019 - we didn't get a financial bonus but we got, I believe, two extra vacation days, which is roughly in line with the extra time we ended up "working".
I narrowly missed getting deployed this time.”
Yeah, you supervisor will give you big pat on your back. Keep up good work!
I’m watching. I need to decide what to do when Southwest comes up. CP or file an ada exception.
reward will be a plastic recognition pin, like the United Way pins. Not like the old metal United way pins. Remember ego and self esteem are worth more than money or time off. Just ask anyone on the executive team when they get their bonus check.
A pizza party is the something.
You were expecting money?
That’s cute.
"You should get time and half for anything over 40 hours. Were you submitting timesheets during the time you were performing CP work?"
Yes we were. Not sure why you are being downvoted.
“cp workers are getting an extra hour per month to work at home until Jan, but it can't be on a Friday”
What’re you talking about?
I usually only stay at the office an hour anyways, no one is ever there on my floor after 2-3 so I just go in at 4.
:)

We got nothing in 2017 for CP duty.
The something coming from Stank is likely a layoff notice. He’s like Oprah with those things.
Don’t expect anything good from Stankey’s evil empire.

Most of the nonessential managers called up for CP will soon receive their surplus notices.
"We got $1000 for having to be on strike assignment those few days."
For those that have been working 32 hours over for a month straight, it better be a lot more than $1,000.
It’s likely a small bonus. Some of you may remember a Midwest CWA strike for 3-4 days around Memorial Day back in maybe 2005 or 6. We got $1000 for having to be on strike assignment those few days.
Ask your supervisor.
