All this talk about JD getting the boot but what about Footwear Leaders? Been the same Leadership team for the last 5-6 years. Someone needs to take accountability for all the product decisions that have gotten Nike in this predicament.

VA needs to go as well as the former VP of FW Sourcing and Mfg (JP). They literally know nothing about Manufacturing.
PM has turned into a joke and peaked years ago. The social justice movement ruined him, a shadow of his former self. Driven by nothing but guilt and fear, incapable of making the decisions needed to drive footwear forward, chained to the anchors of diversity and equity. Every talent and product decision driven by equity and guilt; true innovation and capability nowhere to be seen. A race to the bottom.
Tell me - when Nike can’t make money how can they support the communities that need the most support?
Make sure you include all of footwear leadership in that conversation (Product Creation and Supply Chain). Those still there and those that were recently "promoted" like JP. Just saw a nice picture of VA and LN from supply chain in India smiling for a picture. Not sure where the volume of footwear comes from to continue to focus on expanding in India when we're just trying to keep market share from declining too much.
The Brit has been there longer than that…
