Maybe bill meant investing in a robotic personality for himself? Wait he already has that….maybe it’s a robotic new girlfriend that doesn’t care about personality.

Investing in technology has many connotations. It could mean offshoring, it could mean technology to replace non essential workers, it could mean more smoke and mirror useless technology, or even new laptops.
@qos+1up4JH0V 100% right. And for the BS poster trashing BB&T, I’m guessing you aren’t from the SE US especially NC. BB&T was a very respected bank among customers and employees alike. Their S&S arm was flourishing. KK lied to all the BB&T employees. Subtract was a disaster at wealth management and now their policies are ki-ling the entire bank.

This is so funny, there was no talent at BBnT, that’s why they got weeded out and are now at Chewing Tobacco Community Bank or retired. There feelings are hurt because advisory got to complex for them to understand and articulate to clients.
KK will always have an asterisk by his name as selling out BB&T and all the top talent it held! All that’s left is sales people that do not understand banking or have a conscience about doing the right thing!

This is old news but, he is CEO for one reason only. The only way he would do the deal with the devil himself, Kelly King, for the alleged MOE was he would become CEO after two years and that KK would take his payout and ride off into the sunset so Bill would have a much larger Suntrust to run. This entire merger has played out exactly as Bill planned all because KK wanted a legacy. His legacy is he destroyed one of the best regional banks in the southeast while allowing Bill and his gang to ruin the largest bank in the southeast and it continues today. Kelly is solely responsible for the destruction of 20000 plus peoples life because of his ego, very Christian like, right KK sycophants?
Oh yeah. Lots more lies. If you saw Bill on the street and he worked as a salesman, you would think he was weird as he-l and probably wouldn’t speak to him. So why is he CEO? It’s bc everyone left Suntrust and he was the last person there. That shouldn’t be the reason for hiring a CEO….
