Just notice a new round of layoffs happening today primarily in recruiting and TA. Any other departments affected?

As a former ETW who quit in 2022, I get a handful of emails a month from various agencies trying to source creative roles for Nike.
All are <1yr contracts and underpaid for 4 days a week on campus where you do 2x the work for none of the respect or opportunities offered to black badges.
More layoffs to come.
If you exclude retail it’s closer to 10% of corporate.
I’d say 5% - 6% if you count prior FY and this one, considering all the smaller reorgs.
What is the layoff % year to date (2024 only)? Thats what I want to know. Nike announced 2% in the last round I wonder what it is YTD.
I'm sure Bain and McKinsey have a strategy that does not require TA. They are always so much help to Nike.
Sorry to hear that you were impacted @1itz+1un5DfsA. Always appreciated TA’s help and wish you the best. Hope you find a more stable company.
Last round being the big one of 2024. But still quietly letting go of folks since March '23.
Former TA here. got let go in this last round. But yet we were doing layoffs since March ’23.
From what I have heard TA is already under resourced. If this is true then I agree it is not a good sign.
TA is usually the first to go, so what this says about the rest of orgs isn’t so great
Didn't they have layoffs in TA and recruiting about 14 months ago? Is anyone even left to do TA anymore?!
How do you know?
