"You don’t have to make the changes in workday, you can make them directly on vanguard which I recommend you do" .... That is not true for everyone. I cannot even make updates to my address for 401k, it has ALWAYS since the day I was hired said that you have to make updates to your address through your employer.

You don’t have to make the changes in workday, you can make them directly on vanguard which I recommend you do.

This is very misleading. For the Cvs future fund plan, the rules are that one has to make these changes through workday. They then send the info to workday. Vanguard has a two week turn around time for an address change to be reflected.

That could be an early signal. I moved 7/2023, and I went in to update my address. No problem for payroll, benefits, etc. But I couldn't make any changes to Vanguard /401k, Etrade accounts. I was laid off 8/15/2023, after 13 years with the company.

Stop spreading fear. The balances of 401K are not displaying on Colleague Zone but they are showing on the Vanguard website.

If true that's pretty sc-mmy of CVS to do that. But not surprising. Goes to show you the level of cost cutting their willing to go to.
