Wow, this company really is a big joke. I have never felt more disrespected or unappreciated, but hey it’s Att, what should I have expected.

Wouldn't you have wanted to hear this news as soon as possible?
“Amazing that BOD is doing nothing to remove him.”
They’re 100% complicit with this (intentional) disaster.
I would surely be done with my Contingency assignment real quickly if I got that call. Like, immediately.
It’s only personal if you make it be. And no they do not care.
Nothing is going to stop Stankey from laying off employees. Everybody knows he never did any good to T. Whatever he touches is a disaster for this company. Amazing that BOD is doing nothing to remove him. Worst CEO of the 21st century!!!
THEY
DO
NOT
CARE
Going to be a big layoff/ relo demand when CP is done. Heard it from several sources. Someone’s boss jumped the g-n and let the cat out early. We will all be notified once the strike is over. It was already in motion, just delayed due to the strike.
Don't relo for this dead end of a company. I personally know people that committed to relocate, spent a couple more months working, stressing, planning to move, one even put their house up for sale, just for their supervisor to call them and tell them they're being laid off anyway. Thankfully it happened before they sold their house, so they were able to cancel that whole thing, but they still lost a few thousand dollars in the process. Nice farewell FU from T. I also know some people in hub locations that got laid off, as recently as last week. That's who I personally know. Now indirectly, I've heard quite a few claims of people actually moving, to be then laid off too. Point being, don't even entertain that idea. The whole relo was never meant to actually bring people to the office, it's just a way for them to try to minimize the lay-off numbers they have to report. Relo of not, you will never be any safer from the BAU by-weekly surplus, so why would ever risk your financial well-being for this job? Trust me, from experience, it's easier to find another job, even if you take a pay cut, than sell and buy a house in this economy and move your family to another city/state, especially considering you might end up looking for another job shortly after anyway.
Nice post. Now get back up that pole. Go on, get!
My AVP along with a bunch of us are still coasting the virtual life! Bahaahaaa
JS is taking the “layoff” approach to get T back to profit due to ALL the BAD decisions made $$!
C Suite does not care.
Layoffs will continue since T can’t make Profit AND is in MAJOR DEBT.
So F’d up! I’m on CP too and I’d feel the same way. What CP managers are doing for this company is extraordinary.
If you’ve never deployed and worked outside or in a stifling office, been away from your wife and kids indefinitely, worked 12 hr days 7 days a week, you truly have no idea how much of a sacrifice it truly is.
Missing your wife and kids birthdays, missing your kids going back to school. It’s all a huge sacrifice. To top it off, there is no compensation except of course still having to stress about layoffs and relocations.
Welcome to the DeathStar, you will comply!
The violation will continue until margins improve, you have been forewarned. No safe harbor .
So, surplus now or after CP? With CP you could stay on payroll until the New Year.
Compliance and commitment are our first commandments. Believe or depart, it would help our innovation thru headcount reduction. No more sniveling, back to the magic Kingdom of T.
