My fault for picking the wrong decision, and it’s cost me the severance package and my mental health.

You should say this more in a forum where people have lost their jobs
Go back to HR and let them know you want to take the package. Doesn’t hurt to ask.
Severance is only preferable if you can actually find an equal or better job in that window of time
But you now have the leisure of time to find the perfect job for you instead of crunch competition in a tighter deadline.

Talk to an employment lawyer. Folks I’ve talked to say they weren’t provided all the necessary info upfront to make an educated decision in the timeframe they had to provide their answer back to Nike. Know your rights.
