Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Sudden "retirements"

So all of a sudden there is rash or "retirements" being announced. This was a trend earlier in the year as well, from a few people that were a bit young to be retiring. As if we were not losing enough people to wanting to just get out, it appears we are forcing people out into retirement.

"retirement" = asked to leave the company without it being stated that you were forced out.

If you could afford to retire, why would you stay working at Fiserv?

I was not forced to retire early, I decided to do so on my own. I only hoped to have received severance, which I will not get. I like most of my team, just not the policies my manager and his manager and his manager, etc, are required to enforce. It all starts at the top. Gonna get ugly(uglier) real soon!
